- “Uncle Haji,” a 94-year-old Iranian commonly referred to as the “world’s dirtiest man,” died shortly after taking his first bath in more than 60 years.
- Uncle Haji, who lived in the southern Fars province of Iran, believed that cleaning himself would harm his health.
- He also didn’t eat fresh food, preferring roadkill and smoking a pipe filed with animal excrement. Doctors said he seemed healthy despite his total lack of hygiene.
