WV GOP Candidate Holds Suspect At Gunpoint Until Cops Arrive

• Retired West Virginia teacher Mark Ross, who is a Republican candidate for the House of Delegates, held a home-invasion suspect at gunpoint for a half hour until police arrived.
• Ross received a call about the suspect trying to enter homes in the Prichard neighborhood, where his wife was babysitting their grandchildren.
• “That made it even more special to me,” Ross said. “They’re not going to bother my grandbabies for sure.”
