Wyoming Sorority Accepts First Man Into Its Ranks

  • The Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority at the University of Wyoming became the first at the university to accept a male member into its sisterhood.
  • Artemis Langford, a biological male, said he is excited to “be in a sisterhood of awesome women that want to make history. … “They want to break the glass ceiling, trailblazing you know, and I certainly feel that as their first trans member, at least in the chapter in Wyoming history.”
  • KKG is one of nine sororities that accept transgender members, according to the 2018 National Panhellenic Council Trans* Inclusion Policies.
