- Former President Donald Trump’s YouTube channel will be restored after being suspended for more than two years, the big tech video-sharing site said in a statement on Friday.
- “We carefully evaluated the continued risk of real-world violence, while balancing the chance for voters to hear equally from major national candidates in the run up to an election,” YouTube said in their statement.
- The move is in line with other big tech platforms like Meta and Twitter, who have allowed for the former president to return to the platform, though he has yet to post on those sites.
