Zuckerberg Denies NY Times Report Choked Out in Jiu-Jitsu Match, ‘Never Happened’

  • Billionaire Facebook/Meta founder competed May 6 in his first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu tournament, in Redwood City, California
  • The referee end one of Zuckerberg’s fights early in which he was pinned because he heard him, according to a New York Times story.
  • Zuckerberg sent the paper an email in which he said him being choked out “never happened.” His response was part of a larger story Sunday in the newspaper on Zuckerberg’s fitness routine.
