- Two Bridgeport city councilwomen were arrested Tuesday after police were called to a polling place.
- Bridgeport police received a call around 4:20 p.m. on a report of a person causing a disturbance at the John F. Kennedy campus. When they arrived, officers arrested Samia Suliman on breach of peace charges.
- Less than an hour later, police received a second 911 call from the same polling location about a reported assault. Police arrested Maria Pereira for allegedly assaulting a 70-year-old woman.
