• Former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard announced she is leaving the Democratic Party, denouncing lawmakers on the Left for promoting policies that “[racialize] every issue & stoke anti-white racism.”
• In a video announcement released on Tuesday, Gabbard called on other members of the party to abandon the Democratic Party, accusing the Left of only protecting the “powerful elite.” It’s not clear what party Gabbard plans to join next or if she intends to remain independent.
