Former Trump CoS Mark Meadows Ordered To Testify In GA Election Probe

  • A judge on Wednesday ordered former Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows to testify before a special grand jury in Fulton County, Georgia, investigating alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 election results in that state.
  • “I am going to find that the witness is material and necessary to the investigation and that the state of Georgia is assuring not to cause undue hardship to him,” said South Carolina Circuit Judge Edward Miller.
  • Meadows has been fighting a subpoena to testify as part of the investigation. Atlanta-area prosecutors brought the matter to South Carolina court because Meadows lives in that state, according to CNN.
