On Musk’s First Day, Twitter Flags Story On Dem Election Crimes

  • Some things never seem to change. On Elon Musk’s first day running Twitter, the social-media platform flagged a Just The News story about Democratic election crimes in Florida.
  • The story was based on a prominent black Orlando-area politician-turned-whistleblower, who said Democrats had been running a ballot harvesting operation in African American communities for years.
  • Florida officials investigated those claims and found enough evidence for Gov. Ron DeSantis to request a police probe.
  • None of those facts are in dispute. Despite that, Twitter flagged the story and said, “Warning: this link may be unsafe.”
  • “If you think it’s wrong for @Twitter to censor an accurate, on-the-record story with fair comment let @elonmusk know,” Just the News Editor-in-Chief JohnSolomon wrote in a series of tweets. “This action not only harms Just the News, it also silences a prominent voice in the African-American community in Florida.”
