- A biologically female hockey player was left with a concussion after an on-ice collision with a male-to-female transgender player during the NHL’s “All-Trans Draft Tournament” in mid-November, in which biological females shared the ice with trans hockey players.
- “…the size imbalance between the two skaters was so great that the Team Black player ended up being propelled head first into the boards with enough force to deliver a concussion,” wrote Quillette journalist Jonathan Kay after reviewing video of the incident.
- The team that ended up with the most transgender women predictably won the entire tournament.
