• FL Gov. Ron DeSantis has doubled down on his fight with Disney, introducing legislation that will strip Disney of its self-governing rights in Florida’s Reedy Creek.
• The bill would also force Disney to pay $700 million in debt that under normal circumstances would’ve been passed onto taxpayers.

• “The corporate kingdom has come to an end. Under the proposed legislation, Disney will no longer control its own government, will live under the same laws as everyone else, will be responsible for their outstanding debts, and will pay their fair share of taxes,” DeSantis communications director Taryn Fenske told Fox News.
