WATCH: 2 United Planes Bump Wings At Boston Airport

  • Federal aviation and airport officials reported that on Monday morning, two Boeing 737 flights departing from Boston Logan International Airport collided near the gate area.
  • Preliminary information from the Federal Aviation Administration indicated that as United Airlines Flight 515 was being towed away from the gate by a tow tug, its right wing made contact with the tail of United Airlines Flight 267 at approximately 8:30 a.m.
  • No injuries were reported. Flight 515 was en route to Newark while Flight 267 was scheduled to fly to Denver. Both flights were postponed to a later time.
