• Abigail Zwerner, 25, spoke for the first time about sustaining serious injuries at the hands of one of her first-grade students in a Tuesday interview with Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s “Today.”
• “I remember him pointing the gun at me, I remember the look on his face, I remember the gun going off,” she recalled of the moment the child fired the weapon at Richneck Elementary School in Newport News on Jan. 6.
