  • Rapper and fashion designer Kayne West made the announcement about liking Jewish people again on Saturday, in an Instagram post, after having watched the movie “21 Jump Street,” in which actor Jonas Hill, born to Jewish parent, co-starred.
  • West, who has changed his name to Ye, was effectively banned last year from social media for posts considered antisemitic.
  • In this weekend’s Instagram post, West also apologized for recent comments about Jewish people.
  • “Watching Jonah Hill in 21 Jump street made me like Jewish people again,” West wrote in the post. “No one should take anger against one or two individuals and transform that into hatred towards millions of innocent people.”
