  • TikTok, the Chinese-based social-media platform, this week suspended the Acton Institute, which last month released a documentary on the persecution of Hong Kong citizens by the CCP.
  • That documentary showed, among other things, Hong Kong police tear-gassing protesters. A video promoting the film was removed for “violent and graphic content,” then later reinstated, according to Acton.
  • Acton’s account was suspended Tuesday with no explanation, according to Acton’s director of marketing & communications, Eric Kohn.
