YUMA, ARIZONA - MAY 21: A U.S. Border Patrol agent gives instructions to immigrants as they wait in line to be processed after crossing from Mexico on May 21, 2022 in Yuma, Arizona. • Brandon Judd, president of the National Border Patrol Council, predicted that Mexican cartels will control the southern border once Title 42 is lifted.
  • “When they do that, that’s when [the cartels] are going to be able to bring in all of their products such as the fentanyl, the dangerous drugs, the criminal aliens, and the aliens from special interest countries. All of that is going to go up and it’s going to be Americans that are going to pay for it,” Judd told the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show.
  • Title 42 is a public health provision that allowed the U.S. to deport migrants to contain the spread of COVID.
