Prosecutors have declined to file charges against Baio stemming from allegations by his former “Charles in Charge” co-star that he sexually assaulted her. Scott Baio, who played Chachi on “Happy Days,” announced that he is moving out of California due to the state’s out-of-control homeless crisis.

“After 45 years, I’m making my way to finally ‘exit stage right’ from California,” the sitcom actor said, adding some statistics about homelessness in his tweet.

“‘The most recent survey conducted by the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority found approximately 69,000 people experiencing homelessness in L.A. County and 41,000 in the city in 2022,’” Baio shared in the tweet.
