E. Jean Carroll, who accused Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her, is considering a third lawsuit against the former president after he made disparaging remarks about her during a CNN town hall event.
Carroll, 79, stated that Trump’s comments were “disgusting, vile, foul, it wounds people,” and that her claims were not fabricated, as he had suggested.
On Wednesday, Trump made these remarks, one day after a Manhattan jury found him responsible for sexually assaulting Carroll in a Bergdorf Goodman dressing room in 1996 and defaming her on Truth Social. The jury awarded Carroll $5 million in damages as a result of the lawsuit.
