House Speaker Murrell Smith announced last week that the South Carolina House intends to continue its session until the bill is approved. However, Democrats aim to prolong the discussion by submitting numerous amendments.
In anticipation of a lengthy debate, Smith advised legislators to come prepared with meals as the process could extend for a lengthy time.
