Four children, including an 11-month-old baby, have been discovered alive in the Colombian jungle over two weeks after their plane crashed, resulting in the tragic demise of all adults on board.
President Gustavo Petro relayed this remarkable development, which followed a rigorous search conducted by Colombia’s military, firefighters, and civil aviation authority officials.
The aircraft, a Cessna 206, plunged into dense jungle terrain on May 1, claiming the lives of the pilot and two other adult passengers. The bodies of the three adults were found lifeless within the wreckage.
