A recent Bloomberg report reveals that Plezi, the health drink promoted by former First Lady Michelle Obama, would not meet the health standards established during the Obama administration.

According to the investigation, Plezi’s newly released flavors fail to comply with the requirements necessary for serving beverages in elementary and middle schools.

The report consulted 12 independent health professionals and organizations to assess the drink’s nutritional qualities. It concluded that Plezi’s current flavors, which debuted earlier this month, would not meet the criteria established for beverages served in schools.
