• Van der Sloot left the Challapalca prison on Saturday as planned. He was then transferred from the Juliaca airport and will be landing in Lima, Peru, by 12 p.m. local time, according to authorities.
• Peruvian officials confirmed he began his transfer from Challapalca jail to another prison in Lima. He will be transferred to Peruvian Intel service in order to be extradited to the U.S.
