‘All My Children’ Actor Alec Musser’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Actor Alec Musser, known for his roles in “All My Children” and “Desperate Housewives,” died by suicide at the age of 50, as revealed on Tuesday.

The cause of death was reported as a shotgun wound to the chest, according to information from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office provided to TMZ.

Musser was discovered dead on Saturday at his Del Mar, California home by his fiancée, Paige Press.

The news was initially confirmed by Press in Instagram Stories where she expressed her grief and love for Musser.

Musser, who played Del Henry in “All My Children,” had a notable career in television and film, also appearing in “Desperate Housewives” and the 2010 comedy film “Grown Ups.”

He had previously won the second season of the reality series “I Wanna Be a Soap Star.” Musser’s death marks a loss for the entertainment industry, and he was remembered for his contributions to various projects and magazine covers, including Men’s Health, Men’s Workout, and Exercise Health.
