Biden, Netanyahu Meet In NY, Agree To Work On Deal To Normalize Israel-Saudi Relations

  • President Biden and Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met at the United Nation summit on Wednesday, the first time the world leaders have talked face to face in about nine months.
  • They met at the U.N.’s headquarters in New York City to help secure a deal to normalize relations with Saudi Arabia.
  • Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman said the said the sides are getting “closer” on a deal and that “the Palestinian issue is very important”
  • He also said he hopes a deal will  ease the life of the Palestinians, get Israel as a player in the Middle East.”
