• A fundraiser has been launched for Dove spokesperson and fat liberation and BLM activist Zyahna Bryant. The pitch for donations is that Bryant needs to feel “SAFE and protected” as a graduate student activist due to the “hate mail and threats” that have recently “become worse.”
• Bryant was a student at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville in the summer of 2020 and took part in BLM protests. The fundraiser lists her as a “young Charlottesville activist,” and the ask is to help keep her safe.
• In 2020, Bryant falsely alleged that a white student was racist and ruined the woman’s life. That woman was able to prove that she had not said anything racist at all, and that Bryant had misheard her.
