According to a letter obtained by NBC News, the Department of Justice’s national security division formally informed Pence’s attorney that it had closed its investigation and the former vice president will not be charged.
- Earlier this year, the FBI investigated the matter of classified documents found in Pence’s Indiana home shortly after classified documents were found at the Penn Biden Center, a think tank where Joe Biden periodically operated out of after leaving office as vice president.
