• Anheuser-Busch InBev on Thursday reported a drop in sales and profit in the last quarter as the company continues to face fallout over Bud Light’s controversial partnership with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.
• Anheuser-Busch’s revenue in the U.S. fell more than 10 percent last quarter compared to the same period last year, according to its third quarter earnings report.
• The company said the drop was “primarily due to the volume decline of Bud Light” amid the conservative-led boycott of the brand. Operating profit at the U.S. unit dropped by nearly 30 percent as well.
