Buffalo Bills Once Again Request Fans To Help Shovel Snow Ahead Of Playoff Showdown

The Buffalo Bills are calling for more volunteers to assist in clearing Highmark Stadium of snow ahead of the team’s divisional playoff game against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Bills had previously put out a request on their website and social media channels for shovelers ahead of their first-round playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, after a snowstorm engulfed western New York over the weekend.

The stadium, located in Orchard Park, New York, has been covered in snow following the winter storm that hit the area, raising concerns about fan safety on game day. The game, initially scheduled for Sunday, was delayed by a day due to the ongoing weather emergency. In response, the Bills are calling on volunteers to help clear the snow and ice, by offering them $20 an hour and a comfortable warm break area.

Buffalo Bills fans have previously shown their dedication in helping the team, answering the call and coming out to shovel snow for the Steelers game. Volunteers who answered the call were provided with breakfast and drinks to sustain their efforts during the overnight and morning periods. Despite the hard work that went into clearing the stadium of snow, the seating area was still covered in snow and fans had to brave the conditions to reach their seats.

Despite the challenging weather conditions, the Bills went on to defeat the Steelers with Josh Allen scoring four touchdowns, putting the team one step closer to the Super Bowl. Fans celebrated each touchdown by tossing snow into the air, creating a winter wonderland atmosphere at the stadium.

As they prepare for their upcoming game, the Bills are once again relying on their fans to ensure that the stadium is safe for the upcoming game. Buffalo’s Head Coach, Sean McDermott, praised the admirable effort of the volunteers who helped clear the stadium for the Steelers game, and is hoping for a similar turnout this time around.

The dedication and passion of Bills fans have been a constant sight throughout the season, from their loyal support at the stadium to their calls for more volunteers. With the historic win against the Steelers, the fans are more determined than ever to support their team’s bid for the elusive Vince Lombardi trophy.
