- Raymond Dearie, the Special Master appointed by federal district Judge Aileen Cannon, had tried to require that President Trump substantiate claims that the FBI planted evidence during the Mar-a-Lago raid.
- Cannon rejected that demand and also extended the time for Dearie’s review. The Department of Justice has until Oct. 14 to provide Trump with all relevant documents, and he’ll have three weeks to respond.
