- The House is scheduled to vote on a bill to declassify “any and all information” related to the origin of the COVID-19 pandemic , which passed the Senate by voice vote last week.
- The vote is set for Friday, according to the office of Majority Leader Steve Scalise (R-LA), and the process will begin with House Intelligence Committee and House Rules Committee hearings on Tuesday.
- Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) authored the legislation that also passed unanimously in the Senate in 2021 but failed to get a vote in House when Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was in charge.
