- Democratic Rep. Katie Porter is taking heat for how she treated a veteran and former staffer in July for allegedly violating “office protocols” by catching COVID-19.
- Porter, who recently said that she thinks pedophiles are the targets of unfair discrimination, wasn’t so sympathetic toward a Wounded Warrior program fellow working in her office.
- That staffer, Sasha Georgiades, shared text messages in which Porter kicked Georgiades out of her office because she violated COVID protocols and “gave me COVID.”
