• Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is headed to the United Kingdom and will meet with UK foreign secretary James Cleverly at the end of the month, as he continues to ramp up for an expected presidential announcement in the upcoming months.
• “This trade mission will give us the opportunity to strengthen economic relationships and continue to demonstrate Florida’s position as an economic leader,” DeSantis said in a press release.
• In addition to the UK visit, the Florida governor is set to visit South Korea, Japan, and Israel as part of an international trade mission. He will be joined on the tour by his wife, Casey DeSantis, Florida Secretary of State Cord Byrd, and Florida Secretary of Commerce Laura DiBella.
