• Gov. Ron DeSantis wants the Florida State Board of Administration to reconsider its financial relationship with Anheuser-Busch InBev amid the company’s Bud Light controversy, according to a letter obtained by Florida’s Voice.
• “It has come to my attention that the State Board of Administration (SBA) currently holds global equity assets with Anheuser-Busch InBev,” DeSantis wrote to Lamar Taylor, the interim executive director of the State Board of Administration. “As you well know, AB InBev’s performance has plummeted since its decision to associate its Bud Light brand with radical social ideologies.”
• DeSantis said that it’s possible Anheuser-Busch InBev “breached legal duties owed to its shareholders.”
