According to reports published on Monday, there are concerns that Elon Musk’s firm stance against the European Union’s (EU) demands for state-controlled censorship could result in a potential ban of Twitter across the continent.
The possibility of such a ban reportedly originated from France’s Digital Minister, Jean-Noel Barrot, who recently expressed that “disinformation is one of the gravest threats weighing on our democracies.”
Barrot further stated that if Twitter fails to adhere to their rules repeatedly, it could face a ban within the EU.
