• Justine Medina, a former aide to Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), now holds a senior position in the New York State Communist Party.
• Medina, 33, has been open about Communist loyalties. While working on AOC’s 2020 campaign, she tweeted, “Well, I am a Communist, but work for AOC.”
• As is likely true of any committed Communist organizer, Medina has a lengthy rap sheet, including being booked twice during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots. Medina also was arrested after trying to deface a plaque that honored Fred Trump, Donald Trump‘s father, in Woodhaven, Queens.
