• John Griffin, a former CNN producer, reached a settlement in a lawsuit filed against him on Tuesday, which was brought on behalf of a 9-year-old girl who was sexually abused at his vacation home in Ludlow, Vermont over a four-month period in 2020.
• Griffin, who had a nearly decade-long association with the American cable news network, was recently sentenced to more than 19 years in prison after pleading guilty to the charges of enticing minors with the intent of engaging in unlawful sexual activity.
• According to court records, the girl’s mother accepted an offer of $3,500 from Griffin to bring the child to his residence with the purpose of providing “sexual training.” While both the woman and the child were at his Ludlow home, he watched “pornographic videos related to sexual activities involving mothers and daughters.”
