Fire And Ice: Blizzard Slams N California While Wildfires Scorch Texas Panhandle

The most recent in a series of power Pacific storms this winter has taken aim at Northern California, while wildfires in the Texas Panhandle have charred over a 1 million acres.

Northern California is under blizzard conditions this weekend with damaging winds and heavy snow.

As of Sunday, roughly 6.5 million people were under winter weather alerts across the Mountain West, with blizzard warnings still in effect for the Sierra Nevada.
