Former first lady Michelle Obama has no plans on replacing President Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election, says former Obama White House adviser David Axelrod.

Axelrod said Saturday on CNN that Obama “never was interested in a political life,”though her husband, Barack Obama, successfully ran for the Senate, then president.

“She is not someone who likes politics,” he also said, while also acknowledging he’s only speculating.

“She doesn’t like the tone and tenor of politics. I would be floored if she would consent to that. They feel that they gave 10 years of their life to this. And I’m sure she feels as Barbara Bush did when she said there has to be someone other than the Bushes and the Clintons who could be President of the United States. My guess is that’s her attitude.”

Americans have speculate that Obama would replace Biden, considering he trails in polls the likely GOP presidentail nominee Donald Trump.

But the idea has largely been politic grist for the political chatters.

In addition, how Obama would replace Biden also appears unclear, considering Americans vote on such matters.
