• A woman has been charged in the New Year’s Eve murder of an elderly couple residing in a retirement community in Florida.
• 50-year-old Vickie Williams is being held without bond for the killings of  83-year-old Darryl Getman and his 80-year-old wife, Shannon Getman. Police have not disclosed how the couple was murdered.
• “If there are words to describe what has happened and its impact to our family and the community, we have not found them,” the children of the couple said in a statement.
