Former Trump Organization Chief Financial Officer Allen Weisselberg was sentenced Wednesday to five months in jail for committing perjury when he testified in New York Democratic Attorney General Letitia James’ civil fraud lawsuit against former President Donald Trump.
Weisselberg, 76, pleaded guilty to two perjury counts last month and is expected to once again go to Rikers Island, New York City’s notorious jail complex, according to The Associated Press.
