New York Giants star running back Saquon Barkley on Monday, the first day of NFL, signed a deal to play with division rival Philadelphia Eagles reportedly worth $37.75 million for three year.
Barkley was among several NFL started seeking to leave at the end of their contract and to fetch big money for their talent.
Earlier in the day, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins signed a four-year deal with the Atlanta Falcons, Cousins’ agent old ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The deal is worth a $180 million with $100 million of that being guaranteed, according to the NFL Network.
