In an attempt to hold Rep. Adam Schiff accountable for his claims of collusion between former President Donald Trump and Russia in the 2016 election, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) has introduced a resolution seeking to impose a $16 million fine on Schiff.

Luna argues that this amount is roughly half of the total cost incurred by the federal investigation into the alleged Trump-Russia collusion, which has been discredited by special counsel reports conducted by Robert Mueller and John Durham.

According to Luna, the Republican Conference shares the belief that Schiff has breached the trust of the American people, abused positions of significant authority, and consistently lied. As a result, Luna asserts that Schiff must face consequences for his actions.
