n the latest reveal from the entertainment industry, Elizabeth Hurley takes on a bold role in Strictly Confidential, a forthcoming mystery drama directed by her son, Damian, who is stepping into the realm of filmmaking following his modeling career.

At 58, Hurley embraces a challenging part that captures her versatility as an actress. The film’s debut trailer teases the audience with intense moments, featuring Hurley’s character in an intimate scene with another woman. While it’s not unusual for actors to push the bounds of their comfort for a role, this project stands out given that direction came from her son, Damian, showcasing a unique family collaboration.

Strictly Confidential centers around Mia, a character brought to life by Georgia Lock, best known for her work on children’s television channel CBBC. Mia’s story unfolds as she investigates the puzzling suicide of her best friend Rebecca. Her quest plunges her into a tangled web of sexual entanglement, deceit, and treachery. The plot twists and turns on a picturesque Caribbean island, which harbors not only a past romance but also chilling secrets connected to Rebecca’s untimely demise.

The sneak peek of the film offers glimpses of Hurley’s character, Lily, as she is allureingly approached by Natasha, portrayed by promising young actress Pear Chiravara.

Speaking to People about the film, Damian revealed his mother Elizabeth had “promised” to star in his first picture years ago, and when it was greenlit, she “dropped everything” to take part.

“It was a joy to come to work and tackle each day together. We only had 18 days to shoot the whole film, so our twin-like telepathy was invaluable throughout. To work tirelessly alongside such a committed and talented cast was truly inspiring. I’m eternally grateful to all involved for trusting and believing in me,” he said.
