Iowa Woman Guilty On 52 Counts Of Voter Fraud

  • An Iowa jury found the wife of a county supervisor guilty of 52 voter fraud charges on Tuesday.
  • Kim Phuong Taylor, 49, of Sioux City, who is the wife of Woodbury County Supervisor Jeremy Taylor, was found guilty of attempting to “generate voters” to help her husband win the primary for Iowa’s 4th Congressional District and later the supervisor position in the general election in 2020.
  • Jeremy Taylor went on to lose the primary for U.S. representative after receiving 8% of the vote, but prosecutors argued Kim Taylor broke the law again in helping her husband to seek reelection as a supervisor later that November, which he did win.
