Iran Vows To Comply With UN Atomic Watchdog Probe

Iran is assuring the United Nations nuclear watchdog that it will finally assist with the agency's long-stalled investigation.

  • The investigation is being conducted by the International Atomic Energy Agency and focuses on uranium particles found at undeclared sites.
  • As part of Iran’s reported, sweeping assurances, the country has also said it will even reinstall removed monitoring equipment, the watchdog agency said Saturday.
  • The promise come two days before a quarterly meeting of the agency’s 35-nation Board of Governors.
