Israel Military Says Killed Hamas Commander Who Helped Lead Oct. 7 Terrror Attacks

Israeli Defense Forces say they have killed a Hamas commander who helped lead the October 2023  terrorist attack that killed 1,200 people.

The Nukhba Company commander of the city of Deir al-Balah, Adil Mismah, was “eliminated” by Israeli troops in an airstrike directed by ground troops, the IDF said Monday on social media.

Mismah had led terrorists into the Kibbutz Kissufim, according to The Jerusalem Post. He also ordered other gunmen to ravage the communities of Nirim and Be’eri.

The Israeli Defense Forces said they “struck Hamas and Islamic Jihad terror targets” in Shejaiya after they located a large cache of weapons.

Hamas-run Gaza Health Ministry claims that over 21,800 people in Gaza have been killed, with two-thirds of the victims being women and children, but does not differentiate between civilian and military casualties.

Israel has claimed that over 8,000 of the slain Palestinians are terrorists, but neither side has provided evidence to back up their death toll claims, as stated in the files.
