Lobbying Firm Allegedly Hired ‘GMA’ Producer To Do Hit Job Interviews

- Kristen Hentschel, a “Good Morning America” producer, allegedly used her media credentials to do political lobbying for Matrix LLC, a prominent Florida lobbying firm.
- A spokesperson for ABC: “If she was working on these stories, she was not authorized to cover them for ABC News.” It’s not clear if Hentschel is still employed by ABC.
- Hentschel, previously known as Kristyn Caddell, formerly was known for having an affair with “To Catch a Predator” host Chris Hansen in 2011.
- She reportedly joined “GMA” as a freelance producer in 2016, based in Florida.
