- Medina paid handyman work at the bishop’s Hacienda Heights home and is married to O’Connell’s housekeeper.
- According to District Attorney George Gascón, the murder charge against Medina includes an allegation of the personal use of a firearm, which means that Medina could face 35 years to life in prison if convicted.
