- A man unlawfully entered the Wisconsin Capitol while carrying a handgun, seeking to meet with Governor Tony Evers, and subsequently returned later in the evening with an assault rifle after posting bail, according to a statement from the state.
- On Wednesday around 2 p.m., the shirtless individual, armed with a holstered handgun, approached the governor’s office on the Capitol’s first floor, where he demanded to meet with the absent governor.
- The Wisconsin Department of Administration’s spokesperson, Tatyana Warrick, revealed the information.
