Disturbing details are emerging in the death of a woman on the Oregon coast, including that her son allegedly stabbed her to death with a stake because he thought she was a vampire.
Judy Poe, 79, was found dead on March 12 after her adult male son reported to police that his mother was dead on East Logsden Road in Siletz.
According to court documents, the man, later identified as Robert Bruce Poe, 56, was covered in blood and standing in the driveway when deputies arrived at the property.
